About the New York Sour
The New York Sour builds on the classic Whiskey Sour by floating red wine over the finished drink. The wine adds fruit, tannin and a striking layered appearance.
What does a New York Sour taste like?
Tart and whiskey-forward with balanced sweetness and a fruity, lightly tannic red wine finish.
Tips for making a New York Sour
Pour the red wine slowly over the back of a spoon so it forms a distinct layer over the finished sour.
